Bethany Roun Candidate President-Elect

Bethany Roun Candidate President-Elect

I am truly honored to be in the running for the President-Elect position. I have had the privilege this past year to learn more about the NHATA and I am excited to be a part of growing this organization.

If elected, my goals are to address networking and collaboration among NHATA certified and student members in addition to allies of the profession. Continue exploring ways in which the NHATA can give back to the membership, and continuing initiatives of past Executive Boards.

It is no surprise that one of the strongest characteristics of our profession is that we are interconnected with all those that we create relationships with. We often take the relationships that we have garnered for granted. It is important that we, as an organization find ways to strengthen those relationships and help others create them across our state. Being able to help build relationships between certified members, students, or non-members is crucial in making strides forward for our profession. With these stronger relationships, we will be able to increase our fundraising efforts thus creating and establishing ways to give back to the membership community.

Observing my peers from New Hampshire and around the country I hope to be an advocate for athletic trainers of all avenues. If elected, I look forward to being able to listen, and learn from those in our communities. While learning from those in our communities I look to create opportunities through the NHATA to benefit our members. I am committed to helping the NHATA grow and move forward as a model for other organizations, both regionally and nationally.
