| Keene, NH - On Sunday April 6'th, Keen State College's Athletic Training Education Program, played host to the the 2008 New Hampshire Athletic Trainers' Association's annual student symposium. The event served as a means of student interaction and learning for the state's four ATEP programs, high lighted by student presentations and Dr. Marcia Anderson's keynote address on the new format for the BOC exam. Dr. Anderson provided insight on the various formats of questions and how to follow multiple string questions efficiently. She also discussed the role of continuing education in the field of Athletic Training.

Keene State College's, Matt Cutts and Ryan Davis - Shoulder Instability
During the proceeding's it was announced that the NHATA District 1 Scholarship was renamed "The Dan Sedory New Hampshire District 1 Scholarship". Dan Sedory has been an Associate Clinical Professor and Director of the Athletic Training Education Program at the University of New Hampshire since 1988. Sedory was a recipient of the NATA Athletic Trainer Service Award in 2001 and the NATA Most Distinguished Athletic Trainer award in 2006. He has also served as a member of the Education Council and has played an important role in the development and updating of the NATA Athletic Training Educational Competencies. The winner of this year's award is University of New Hampshire athletic training student Rebekah Porter. The winner's of the 2008 NHATA Student scholarships are Colby-Sawyer College's Shannah Dalton and Taryn Nicoletta.
To close the proceedings, current New Hampshire EATA representative Dan Gay of Colby-Sawyer College and future representative Matt Robert's of Keene State College spoke on this year's hit the hill day.
The NHATA would like to thank Scot Ward and Keene State College for their efforts in facilitating a successful event and looks forward to it's 4'th annual student symposium, to be held next year by the University of New Hampshire.
