The Daniel R. Sedory New Hampshire District 1 Scholarship and New Hampshire Athletic Trainers’ Association Athletic Training Student Scholarships

Dan Sedory has been an Associate Clinical Professor and Director of the Athletic Training Education Program at the University of New Hampshire since 1988. Sedory was a recipient of the NATA Athletic Trainer Service Award in 2001 and the NATA Most Distinguished Athletic Trainer award in 2006. He has also served as a member of the Education Council and has played an important role in the development and updating of the NATA Athletic Training Educational Competencies.

The New Hampshire Athletic Trainers’ Association initiated an undergraduate scholarship program in January 2001 to promote academic excellence in, and dedication to, the study of athletic training. Applications and information are available from the Chair of the Athletic Training Student Committee. Previous applicants and eligible recipients may apply annually.

To be eligible for the NHATA scholarship, an individual can either be an accepted student in a athletic training education program in the state of New Hampshire or a New Hampshire resident accepted into an athletic training education program. To be eligible for the Dan Sedory New Hampshire District 1 Scholarship, the candidate must meet the criteria for the NHATA scholarship and be a District 1 member.

The PDF document below will allow the applicant and the endorsing certified athletic trainer to complete the same application without the need for printing.
