The attendee will understand the role of an AT in a physician practice setting, and the various responsibilities this could entail, including:

  1. Ordering images/labs
  2. Performing and initial history and physical exam with presentation to the physician
  3. Casting
  4. DME fitting
  5. Surgery booking/orders
  6. Imaging interpretations
  7. Patient calls/triage
  8. Patient care coordination (rehab providers/PCP/specialists)
  9. Home exercise teaching
  10. Assist in administrative responsibilities (disability paperwork, appointment scheduling, documentation/image collection, referral management)
  11. Administering concussion assessment tools (i.e. ImPACT)
